MUN Blog 2009

Hi and Welcome to the MUN Blog!
I was supposed to write and add some pictures here during the Model UN. Unfortunately did we have some problems with the website, so I wasn't able to do it.
It was a busy week, consisting new friends from different countries, learning a lot of things and having fun.

The first day began with a speech by Mr Jan Mårtensson, former member of the United Nations. After that there were a lot of opening speeches by the delegations, and lobbying in the evening.
On Tuesday there was committeework and then different activities like visit Falun CopperMine, Irish Concert, Guided Tour in the center of Falun, etc.
Even Wednesday was filled with committeework. Later, in the evening, there was dinner with nice food and musical entertainment.
The whole Thursday was spent at Falu Folkets Hus and General Assembly.

Almost 140 teenagers came to take part in one of the 31 countries in the Model UN.
